- How do I place a custom order?
- Custom orders can be placed by calling 603-617-3810. We require shipping information and a 25% deposit at the time the order is placed to reserve space on our production schedule. Final counts are not required until 3 weeks before the delivery date at which time an additional 25% would be due. The final 50% is charged when your order ships, is picked up or delivered.
- How do you handle shipping?
- We use FedEx Ground and USPS to ship orders.
The rates are automatically calculated when you place your order.
Express delivery is only available by special request.If you would like to receive your order on or by a specific date, you may ask to have it expedited with a guarantee for an additional fee. Please call us for those rates.
We ship orders Monday through Thursday only. We do not ship on Fridays.
Regular ground service with FedEx and USPS will take from 1 to 4 business days to reach addresses east of the Mississippi. Orders with addresses in the Central & Western U.S. will take up to 5 business days to arrive. Expedited shipping is available by request. Please call us for those rates. - How do you handle warm weather shipping?
- Due to the perishable nature of our products, the following warm weather shipping policies are applicable during May 15th- October 15th and/or to warm weather destinations as applicable throughout the year (temperatures greater than 80 degrees).
•Due to heat we do not have packages in transit over the weekend.-Therefore we do not ship on Fridays.This applies to all Ground shipping.
•We are able to ship our cookies to warm weather areas (or during periods of warm weather) if the product is in transit for two days or less and is shipped with ice packs. There will be an additional charge of $2.00 per box shipped with ice packs. This also requires any area outside of New England to be shipped USPS Express Mail overnight. We cannot be held responsible if this shipping option is not selected during checkout.
•We are not able to ship when temperatures reach 90 degrees and above - Your order will be held and you will be contacted with a ship date. This applies both to the destination of your package, or the temperature at our production facility.
•We recommend to ship your order to an office or place of business where someone can receive the delivery directly.
If your order is a gift, it is your responsibility to alert the recipient to expect a perishable (and delicious!) delivery.
We cannot guarantee any orders that are not recieved at time of 1st delivery or are left outside in the heat. We are not responsible for packages left unattended outdoors upon delivery.
- How Eco-friendly are you?
- Well, the cookie itself is eaten... but beyond that we purchase and use environmentally friendly products and packaging whenever possible. All of our packaging, the box, ribbon, tissue paper and even the cellophane bags that protect your cookie are one or more of the following: recycled materials, post-consumer recycled, biodegradable, can be reused or repurposed, or comes from suppliers that utilize greener energy sources. We’ll update this FAQ whenever possible as we continue to grow our green efforts but if you have any questions you can contact us at 603-617-3810
- How long are your cookies fresh for?
- Our cookies are heat sealed in a cello wrap and are absoultely crispy and delicious for at least eight -ten weeks if they remain in their original packaging and are properly stored. We recommend keeping them in a cool, dry place when not being eaten.
- How long does it take for my cookies to arrive?
- With the exception of a few of our most popular cookies, Fantastic Fortunes Gourmet Cookies are made to order. It generally takes up to 2 business days to produce the cookies and between 1 to 5 business days for shipping.
We ship orders Monday through Thurday. We do not ship on Friday. For most residential deliveries, Fantastic Fortunes Gourmet Cookies will ship Fedex Ground or USPS Priority Mail. Regular ground service will take from 1 to 4 business days to reach addresses east of the Mississippi. Orders with addresses in the Central & Western U.S. will take up to 5 business days to arrive. Expedited shipping is available by request.Please call us for a shipping estimate for overnight/express shipping.
For Special Orders and Business Delvieries, our cookies are shipped Fedex Ground and will arrive in approximately 1-5 business days from the shipment date depending on their destination. We are able to track Fedex Ground packages.
